My Story
The journey of a little girl chasing her dream.
I began playing tennis as a young kid. I didn't love it at first, but I grew to love it as the years went on.
I went to UNC for college and played on the tennis team for 5 years, winning 3 National Indoors titles, 4 ACC titles, and 1 NCAA doubles title.
I graduated from UNC with a Bachelors and Masters in Sport Administration.
I decided to try to play professionally and ended up living my dream, making it all the way to the US Open.
November 20, 2023 is a day I will never forget.
I was playing a tournament in Brazil and while running for a drop shot, my foot got stuck and I fell wrong and ended up tearing my ACL and lateral meniscus.
I had ACL and meniscus repair surgery on December 8, 2023.
This is me now, 4 months post-surgery. Getting back in the gym and on the court made me feel like my soul was re-entering my body. Finally feeling like myself again.
The road to recovery began. While brutal at times, I did my best to embrace and enjoy the journey.
